My culinary journey started in the Steak Cookoff Association (SCA), where I honed my skills in grilling and competition cooking. The thrill of competition and the challenge of perfecting every cook fueled my passion for BBQ. Over time, I transitioned into backyard BBQ, expanding my focus beyond steak to include smoking meats and developing unique flavor profiles. Through dedication and continuous learning, I’ve achieved notable success, including placing 3rd in the SCA World Championship in Fort Worth, Texas. My BBQ has also been recognized by Kosciusko Dinners and Drives, and I’ve had the opportunity to share my journey through radio interviews.
