Smokin' On The River competition cooking team was created in May 2001 by three brothers along with some of their friends. Over the last 24 years we have competed in BBQ competitions (TN, LA, AL), crawfish competitions (LA), as well as qualified for and competed in WFC (Las Vegas 2014,Orlando 2015, Indianapolis 2025). Several of our members have taken our team's success and parlayed that in to catering businesses and other competitions. Some notable successes over the years for the team include: 1st Place Ribs Memphis in May 2006, 1st Place Ribs Hogs For The Cause 2012, 1st Place Hospice House Crawfish Comp 2014 & 2015, 1st Place Duck SmokeSlam 2025, 2nd Place Rub SmokeSlam 2025, 2nd Place Ribs Memphis in May 2021, 2nd Place Dessert Music City BBQ 2012, 3rd Place Sauce Memphis in May 2014, 4th Place WFC Seafood 2014, as well as several more top tens.
